About Bob Drew...
Coming into Beaufort
County in the Fall of 1982 from Flint Michigan, Bob and his brother
thought this was a great place to work and live. They started
their company, Drew Brothers Construction, Inc. and have been in the
concrete business ever since. After he was licensed in SC, he
worked at various real estate companies, before starting Bob Drew
Realty in 1996. Giving in to his love of the Western NC
mountain area, he also became a licensed broker in North Carolina.
Bob lives on 10 acres
in the Camp St. Mary's area with his wife, Dyan, 2 Boxers, Bonnie &
Clyde and ducks and geese too many to count. "We were blessed
to find our perfect home here and I enjoy helping other folks find
their special place." This is the standard at Bob Drew Realty.
I am a Christian, a
husband, a grandfather and an American. We have great agents
at our company and I'm proud to call them friends. My most
recent venture is watching Dyan and Cheryl getting into the
miniature horse raising business. Have mercy on us all!
About Cheryl
Phillips...
Cheryl is a true native of the
South Carolina Lowcountry. Her father was a local farmer and is a
descendant of the Pinckney's of Pinckney Colony. She went to May
River Academy in Bluffton, starting in first grade and graduating in
1984. She specialized in real estate sales and rentals working
for a real estate management company on Hilton Head Island from 1986
through 1996. Cheryl is available to share her knowledge of local
real estate with interested buyers and sellers.
"I have three children:
Madison, Jessie & Logan- they all attend the local schools down
Buckwalter Parkway. My husband Dave has his own company specializing
in wood working of any kind! My family is my first love,
followed very closely by my animals... horses, pigs, dogs, cats,
etc. I have recently started breeding miniature horses, and will have
a few babies for sale in 2007!! I love working with people and helping them find the perfect
property to call home."
About Mike
MacDonald...
Visiting his brother Scott in 1979, Mike also decided that
this was the place to settle down. After fishing and part-time
carpentry work, he became a licensed Building Contractor in 1988.
Marrying Susanne in 1990 Scott thought he had it all, until three
sons came along to make him realize that family was his greatest
treasure, though fishing is still a passion and the new shrimp boat
is his work of art. While working with Bob Drew in the
construction business, they became good friends. He suggested
that Scott & Mike should look into the real estate side of the
growing area. In 2004 Mike and Scott joined Bob Drew Realty,
realizing that their knowledge of home construction, renovation and
site conditions would be beneficial to anyone wanting to move to or
invest in the Carolina Low Country. No, Scott & Mike are not
twins. We at the office call them both "Herb", so that no one
is offended if we can't tell them apart. Wait until you meet
them, you'll call them Herb also!
About Scott
MacDonald...
While working on Hilton
Head between semesters at the University of Georgia in 1978, Scott
felt that the beauty of the Low Country and friends he found here
made for a good reason to stay. In 1988 he added wife, Pattie,
to the mix and now has a family with daughter Molly Maeve & Maureen.
At first, he worked as a commercial fisherman and part time
carpenter. With brother, Mike, they started MacDonald Brothers
Enterprises for custom built homes and remodeling. Fishing is
now relegated to a hobby, though their hand crafted shrimp boat is a
beauty to behold and is known to soothe the savage beast!
Credo for Scott, "God, Family, Work and Play - that's the order of
the day."
